US President Joe Biden considers the Texas government's decision to abolish the mandatory wearing of medical masks in the state as "Neanderthal thinking".
"The last thing we need now is the Neanderthal thinking that everything is fine, take off your masks and forget about it all," - quoted the head of the White House CNN.
Biden urged Americans to take precautions: wash their hands more often, wear medical masks and maintain social distance.
We will remind, on the eve of the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott announced that from March 10 in the state will be canceled the requirement to wear masks due to the pandemic, despite the recommendations of the health authorities not to do so. In addition, the state will allow businesses to resume operations. The White House criticized this decision by the Texas authorities.
